Float with me.
I often feel like I’m drowning, drowning in my fears and my very own sea of imagination, slowly sinking even when I’m stuck in the middle of a crowd, that’s what anxiety brings to my table. I didn’t allow other people to know that I was suffocating within my own body, trying my hardest to stay afloat. Until I started to listen, I listened to the worries around me, I listened to all the problems my surroundings had and then it hit me, we’re all trying to stay afloat and I, like you. Trying my hardest to keep my self up to keep going and I need you, as you need me. So allow it, allow that helping hand to rest on your back to keep you afloat. We all need a helping hand and together we’ll get there. To my family and my friends, thank you for resting your hand on my back and thank you for letting me to the same for you. You’re listening to 5AM birds and Rain with a teacup of anxiety. Along side 🎹. Thank you to my dear friend Abbas for creating this melody with me and teaching me calm through music.
